Critiquing Elliot Collins’ work 2014

The Art and Performance Research Group supports higher degree postgraduate and alumni students through the promotion of members projects, the organisation of reading groups, discussions, critiques, and symposia. We hope to facilitate contact across all postgraduate areas and disciplines involved in art and performance. The research group aims to extend notions of performance towards a diverse range of practices and theory, from process based artwork to theatre and film.  The Art and Performance Research Group aims to open up current debates about the temporal aspects of art (including performance art), what constitutes an ‘event’ as well as diverse modes of spectatorship and participation.
